Commissions & Sculpture Process and Pricing

Is there a particular creation you've been envisioning, maybe it involves your own horse portrayed in a unique and artistic manner or a monumental design to capture the undenying beauty and energy of the horse. Whether it's a majestic portrait, a dynamic movement, or any other concept you have in mind, I'm here to bring your vision to life.

Horses have an incredible ability to regulate energy in a space whether that is calm, strength, grounding or empowerment. My goal is to create artwork that shifts the emotional experience of a room the moment you enter.

A brief outline of my commission process:

Initial Conversation: We'll start with a conversation about your vision for the artwork. This will help me understand your preferences, style, and any specific elements you'd like to incorporate.

Follow-up with Characteristics: After our initial discussion, I'll follow up with questions regarding the characteristics of your horse or the space where the artwork will be placed. This will include details about size, shape, and placement preferences.

Sketches: Once I have a clear understanding of your vision and requirements, I'll provide you with sketches or concept designs for your approval. This stage allows for any adjustments or revisions before the final creation begins.

Continuous Communication: Throughout the process, I will maintain open and transparent communication with you, providing updates on the progress of your artwork and seeking your feedback at every stage to ensure that the final piece exceeds your expectations.

If you're interested in discussing ideas or have any questions about the commission process, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Your input and feedback are essential in ensuring that the final piece resonates with your expectations and captures the beauty and spirit of your beloved horse.

For your consideration:

Each sculpture is entirely handmade through a slow ceramic process involving sculpting, drying, multiple firings, and careful finishing. From initial form to final installation, works often develop over many weeks or months, reflecting both the physical demands of clay and the intention behind each piece.
